Thanks to the particularly high separating performance, these vacuum pumps guarantee oil-free exhaust under even the most difficult operating conditions.

Application-oriented
The R 5 vacuum pumps are distinguished by high suction capacity even in low pressure ranges and therefore quick evacuation times. The heavy-duty vanes guarantee long operating times. This series has been specially developed for applications with varying operating vacuums and can be reliably used both in continuous operation at ultimate pressure and also in low vacuum ranges.
The optimised internal oil separation guarantees clean exhaust air in all operating conditions.
Service-friendly
Maintenance can easily be carried out by the operator. Apart from the change of oil and filters at regular service intervals, no further maintenance is necessary.
R 5 rotary vane vacuum pumps are known throughout the industry for modern and energy-efficient vacuum generation suitable for all kinds of applications – whether being used intermittently or around the clock, you can rely on the R 5.
The R 5 series includes many more models than described here. Specialised types of R 5 are available for certain applications such as pumping of very wet gases, vapours and explosive gases.
Technical specifications
The rotary vane technology enables a technically simple structure of the vacuum pumps. The consistently high vacuum level in continuous operation is guaranteed through circulating oil lubrication, perfectly coordinated materials and stateof- the-art and precise manufacturing. The standard oil separator ensures clean and oil-free exhaust air thanks to its sophisticated extractor system with a large filter surface and integrated oil return. When fitted with a gas ballast valve (optional), even large amounts of vapour can be processed. A non-return valve in the inlet flange prevents air from flowing back into the vacuum chamber when the vacuum pump is switched off. The pump is driven by a directly flange-mounted standard motor, efficiency class IE2.
